About

My name is Dave Mohren, and I am proud to be the business partner of Brian Hilsinger, and together, we are the owners of NJ Property Care (a handyman service in New Jersey). My story starts in Tampa, Florida. I was the owner and Broker of two Century 21 Franchises. We specialized in residential real estate, including a very large property management division. It was always a difficult task to find and keep good quality vendors who would help us serve the owners and tenants of the houses we managed. When we did find quality handyman companies, they either became too busy, or quite honestly, too expensive. In 2010, my journey brought me back home to the state of my birth, New Jersey. We took over my wife’s family home. A house that had been built in 1896. Needless to say, keeping up with the care and maintenance of a 100-year-old home was a job of its own. I also remained in real estate and property management with a Century 21 franchise in Morris County. Despite the change in location, the same problems followed – finding “purpose over profit” vendors who could provide quality services for reasonable prices to help me with my 100-year-old residence and the clients of my real estate business. I decided that the only way to solve this problem, was to create a firm that starts and ends with service and truly seeks to help the community in which it serves. Together with Brian, NJ Property Care was formed. We couldn’t be prouder of this company and its mission. We look forward to this journey together, with you, our dear clients, at the center of it all.

My name is Brian Hilsinger. I am a lifelong New Jersey resident. I was born and raised in Clifton and now reside in the Succasunna area of Morris County. I am the proud husband of Karrie and the father of Gunnar. I graduated from Kean College in 1998 with a degree in Computers. I spent the next two decades working in Information Technology throughout North Jersey. I have always been handy around the house (thanks, Dad!) and loved being out in the field as opposed to being behind a desk. When a lunch conversation with Dave turned to ideas of helping people with house repairs and chores, and that we would create a company whose mission was to help people, first and foremost, and have purpose in their transactions, I was in. As the outside operations manager and the smiling face you are most likely to see, I look forward to getting to know you and helping you with whatever I can with our handyman service in New Jersey.
